The Practice will have collected information from you when you joined The Practice. Please see attached Registration Form. The records of your appointments at The Practice are held on file and updated immediately after your appointment.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Act 2018 all personal information will be held securely and used with care and in accordance with this policy. Your information is stored both digitally and manually (hard copy). The Practice only collects information about you that you have knowingly provided. It uses the information for appointment contact purposes and reference notes for podiatrists therapies.
Subject to your prior approval we may communicate with you by phone to organise appointments and occasionally one a one to one basis by email as agreed with you.
In addition to this policy your personal data is protected in the UK by the General Data Protection Regulations Act 2018. The Practice will only process your data in accordance with the Act and in a lawful and fair manner. Your personal data will be kept secure to prevent unauthorised access by third parties. You data may have to be disclosed if The Practice is required to disclose it by law or as a result of a lawful request by a governmental or law enforcement authority.
